David's anthem sung for Pope

David's anthem Love's redeeming work is done was sung at the Papal Mass in Washington DC on 17th April. The Mass was celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI in the newly built Washington Nationals baseball stadium with a congregation of 40,000 in attendance. The Archbishop of Washington wrote to David saying, "Your piece for the Mass that Pope Benedict celebrated helped to make that Eucharistic liturgy beautiful, prayerful and memorable for the tens of thousands people who came to worship and be with the Pope. Thank you for your generous contribution of time and talent."

The anthem was written for the RSCM Bristol Course in 2004 and is published by the RSCM. You too can sing along at home - buy the music here.
