Weekend Course 2008

18th-19th October, Bristol

The RSCM Millennium Youth Choir’s Autumn Weekend will be held in Bristol, when we will be singing for a live broadcast of BBC Radio 4's Sunday Worship from St Augustine's Chapel at St Monica's Home in North Bristol, which enjoys a fabulous acoustic and wonderful organ. The MYC will also sing at Sunday Eucharist at David Ogden's church, Holy Trinity at Westbury-on-Trym. We will also be recording some pieces for broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in April next year, at the start of the MYC's Easter Course.

Accommodation is in twin rooms at the Bristol Cribbs Causeway Premier Inn. Supper on Saturday evening and breakfast and lunch on Sunday are included. David Ogden conducts, Daniel Moult is the organist and the vocal coach is Hilary Llystyn Jones.

Directions From M5 Southbound, exit at junction 17 and go straight over the roundabout signposted the A4018 to Westbury. At the next roundabout turn left and follow the signs for A38 to Patchway and Filton. Move into the right hand lane and take the immediate right at the traffic lights into Catbrain Lane.

From the M5 Northbound, exit junction 17 and turn right at the roundabout signposted the A4018 to Westbury. At the next roundabout turn left and follow the signs for the A38 to Patchway and Filton. Move into the right hand lane and take the immediate right at the traffic lights into Catbrain Lane.

From Filton High Street take the A38 away from Bristol and head for the M5 signs. Stay going straight ahead through the Retail Park.
