Saturday 11 October at 7.30pm, St Alban’s Church, Bristol City of Bristol Choir performs Handel’s youthful and vibrant work, Dixit Dominus, full of drama, passion and exquisitely beautiful vocal lines, and Vivaldi’s double choir setting of Beatus Vir with its flamboyant solo movements, vivid word painting and colourful choral textures. The choir is joined by professional orchestra The Lochrian Ensemble, who will perform Autumn from The Four Seasons – familiar, but always a wonderful listen with its rustic scenes of peasants, harvest dances and over indulgence in the local liquor, and a dramatic account of an Autumn hunt with horns, guns and hounds. Carmina Burana with Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra

A choir of 200 singers joins Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra for a memorable full-scale performance of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. With lyrics from the Middle Ages expressing earthly desires and a hearty enjoyment of life, and pulsating rhythms, full of passion and excitement, this is music of a primeval nature. David conducts the orchestra and singers from City of Bristol Choir, Bristol Schools Chamber Choir, Westbury-on-Trym Parish Church, Bristol Grammar School and St Peter’s Hospice Choir. Will Goodchild conducts the orchestra in performances of Shostakovich’s Festive Overture and Dvorak’s ever-popular symphony From the New World. Sunday 9 November at 7.30pm, St George’s Bristol Exultate Singers is joined by professional orchestra The Lochrian Ensemble to perform a programme of music marking the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War.

Saturday 7 June, Bristol Cathedral City of Bristol Choir and Bristol Schools Chamber Choir appeared at the annual High Sheriff of Bristol’s concert alongside the Brandon Hill Chamber Orchestra. David conducted performances of music by Elgar and Parry.

Thursday 5 June, Colston Hall, Bristol David conducted the Royal Mail Choir at a packed Colston Hall to sing as part of Gareth Malone’s Voices tour

Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th May, Hannover, Germany  Exultate Singers joined forces with Camerata Vocale Hannover to give two collaborative concerts, in Hildesheim and Hannover, as part of the celebrations of the 300th anniversary of the Hanoverian succession to the British throne. The German choir makes a return visit to Bristol later this year, giving a concert in St Mary Redcliffe Church on Friday 5 September

Sunday 11 May, 7 – 9am, BBC Radio 2 David Ogden conducts Exultate Singers in live music on Clare Balding’s BBC Radio 2 show, Good Morning Sunday. The episode comes live from the BBC Food Connections festival in Bristol’s harbourside, ahead of the Bristol 10k that is being held the same morning.

Thursday 1st May, BBC Radio 4 BBC Food Connections festival commissioned David and lyricist Anna Farthing to write a brand new food anthem, Stand Up For Good Food which was premiered at the BBC Food & Farming Awards ceremony at St George’s Bristol. Singing to an audience which included celebrity chefs Jamie Oliver, Raymond Blanc and Mary Berry, BBC Director of Radio Helen Boaden, Bristol Mayor George Ferguson, Bristol Schools Junior Chamber Choir and Exultate Singers stole the show with the song, an excerpt of which was broadcast in a special report on the awards on BBC Radio 4 on Monday 5 May.
